The SCEGGS community were treated to a stunning performance last Thursday evening by Anna Dowsley and choristers from Choir, Madrigal Ensemble and Cantare.\u00a0 Congratulations to the students who performed alongside Anna last evening in the combined works Habenera <\/em>by Georges Bizet from the opera Carmen <\/em>and You\u2019ll Never Walk Alone<\/em> from the musical Carousel <\/em>by Rodgers and Hammerstein.<\/p>\n

Special thank you to Miss Allison Harrigan who had worked to prepare and conduct the choristers for this event.\u00a0 Thank you also to Mr Heinz Schweers who accompanied the combined items and to Ms Heidi Jones who accompanied Anna for her three solo items: Die Mainacht<\/em> by Johannes Brahms, Voi che sapete<\/em> from the opera Le nozze di figaro <\/em>by W.A. Mozart and Mon coeur s\u2019ouvre \u00e0 ta voix <\/em>from the opera Samson et Dalila <\/em>by Camille Saint-Sa\u00ebns. <\/em>Well done Choir, Madrigal Ensemble and Cantare!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
