{"id":5572,"date":"2021-08-12T13:01:12","date_gmt":"2021-08-12T02:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/sceggs\/?post_type=article&#038;p=5572"},"modified":"2021-08-12T15:51:08","modified_gmt":"2021-08-12T04:51:08","slug":"music-matters-60","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/sceggs\/article\/music-matters-60\/","title":{"rendered":"Music Matters"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>SCEGGS Choral Program Online!\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The secondary school choral program is making the most of the shift to online singing by focusing on skill building in our weekly rehearsal sessions.\u00a0 Our time together includes a focus on developing vocal technique.\u00a0 We help the students to identify what good singing physically feels like and what they should be listening for in order to improve the quality of their sound.\u00a0 This online time to listen to and tweak their own voice is very valuable. Students took elements of the original source material and manipulated the music to make it their own.
