The Female Of The Species<\/em>: play-reading<\/strong><\/h4>\n

An enthusiastic audience responded with great laughter and engagement to the presentation of Joanna Murray-Smith\u2019s The Female Of The Species<\/em>, last Friday in St Peter\u2019s Playhouse.<\/p>\n

A cast of some of Australia\u2019s finest actors brought this bitingly funny farce to vivid life. We were also fortunate to have acclaimed Director Gale Edwards shaping the work through the day.<\/p>\n

An insightful Q&A followed the performance chaired by Theatre Reviewer, Diana Simmonds.<\/p>\n

Year 9 Greek Theatre Performance<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Our Year 9 Drama students recently completed a Greek Theatre task in which they adapted a parable for performance. The girls presented their work in spaces around the school and were required to deal with the elements of outdoor performance. On the day, this consisted of rain, cold and a helicopter flying above. All delightful challenges that tested the outstanding work.<\/p>\n
