Here Reina Steiner Carrion, shares her reflections of the experience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Year 9 had the opportunity to visit Chabad of Bondi to learn about Judaism and take part in Project NOAH. During the excursion, we explored Jewish traditions and culture, including the significance of challah, a traditional braided bread eaten on Shabbat and Jewish holidays.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>One of the highlights was baking our own challah. It was a fun, hands-on way to learn about an important part of Jewish tradition and understand how food can bring people together. We also had the opportunity to learn more about Judaism, its customs and the values that are important within the Jewish community.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Overall, it was a really interesting and enjoyable experience. It gave us the opportunity to learn about a culture and religion beyond the classroom and develop a greater understanding of the traditions that are meaningful to others.
