Last week the Kindy class was treated to performances demonstrating string instruments by Amelia Chow (Year 6) violinist, Monica Zhang (Year 5) violist and Bronte Lusted (Year 5) cellist. These talented musicians were able to show the younger students how each instrument sounded and share their enthusiasm and love of music. Information has been sent to Kindy parents this week about enrolling for violin, viola or cello lessons at school. Once the Kindy students have had a few terms of tuition, they will be invited to join a string ensemble. Students enjoy playing together very much, both musically and socially.

We love hearing about ways our musicians are involved in music-making outside of school.
