The SCEGGS Inaugural Landscape Prize was launched this week. This is a new painting prize with entries open to all students in Years 5 to 12.<\/p>\n

Students can work in any painting medium and in any style with a theme of any form of landscape (snow, coastal, pastoral, abstract, expressive, realist… everyone is encouraged to broadly interpret the subject in their own way!)<\/p>\n

ALL STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ENTER A WORK (or 2)! Do not be hesitant if you have not done much painting in the past, just be adventurous and give it a go!<\/p>\n

Boards are provided and available for pick up anytime from the Visual Arts Department staffroom.<\/p>\n

Paintings will be due end of Week 2 of Term 3 (Friday 31st July), so there is plenty of time to think, plan and work on your entry.<\/p>\n

If you have any questions, please come and ask one of the Visual Art teachers at any time.<\/p>\n
