The vaccination program requires parents to provide consent for their children to be vaccinated at school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We ask that Parents of Year 10 students complete their online consent form by Wednesday 3 June.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to provide consent:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/engage.health.nsw.gov.au\/engage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NSW Engage Health<\/a> and choose the School Vaccination Program. The Vaccination Portal works best on Google Chrome.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the steps to log in to your existing <strong>ServiceNSW Account<\/strong>. This is the same account you may already use to renew your driver\u2019s licence. If you don\u2019t have a ServiceNSW account, refer to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.service.nsw.gov.au\/services\/myservicensw-account\/how-to-create-an-account\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ServiceNSW<\/a>\u00a0to create one.<\/li>\n<li>Update or confirm your personal details in ServiceNSW as required.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the School Vaccination Consent Form for your child\/ren. You will need to:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter your child\u2019s personal details<\/li>\n<li>Provide the Medicare card details for you and your child<\/li>\n<li>Read the linked Parent Information Sheet and privacy statement<\/li>\n<li>Provide consent<\/li>\n<li>More detailed instructions can be found on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.nsw.gov.au\/immunisation\/Pages\/online-consent-school-vaccination.aspx#login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NSW Health website<\/a>, including instructions for how to withdraw consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You will receive a text and\/or email when your online consent has been completed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>If you or your child does not have a Medicare card, consent can instead be provided by requesting a paper consent form from SCEGGS Student Services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you have given consent for your child to be vaccinated at the school clinic, but they are absent on the day of the clinic visit, the school immunisation nurses will try to catch them up at their next visit.
