The vaccination program requires parents to provide consent for their children to be vaccinated at school.<\/p>\n<p>SCEGGS Vaccination Clinic dates for 2026 are as follows:<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse;width: 100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 50%\"><strong>Thursday 11 June (Term 2):<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 50%\"><strong>\u00a0Year 10 \u2013 meningococcal ACWY vaccine<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 50%\"><strong>Monday 9 November (Term 4):<\/strong><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 50%\"><strong>Year 7 \u2013 diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (dTpa) <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How to provide consent:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/engage.health.nsw.gov.au\/engage\">NSW Engage Health<\/a> website and choose the School Vaccination Program. The Vaccination Portal works best on Google Chrome<\/li>\n<li>Follow the steps to log in to your existing <strong>ServiceNSW Account<\/strong>. This is the same account you may already use to renew your driver\u2019s licence. If you don\u2019t have a ServiceNSW account, refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.service.nsw.gov.au\/services\/myservicensw-account\/how-to-create-an-account\">ServiceNSW<\/a>\u00a0to create one.<\/li>\n<li>Update or confirm your personal details with ServiceNSW as required.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the School Vaccination Consent Form for your child\/ren. You will need to:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter your child\u2019s personal details<\/li>\n<li>Provide Medicare card details for you and your child<\/li>\n<li>Read the linked Parent Information Sheet and Privacy Statement<\/li>\n<li>Provide consent<\/li>\n<li>More detailed instructions can be found on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.nsw.gov.au\/immunisation\/Pages\/online-consent-school-vaccination.aspx#login\">NSW Health website<\/a>, including instructions for how to withdraw consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You will receive a text and\/or email when your online consent has been completed.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0If you or your child does not have a Medicare card, consent can instead be provided by requesting a paper consent form from SCEGGS Student Services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you have given consent for your child to be vaccinated at the school clinic, but they are absent on the day of the clinic visit, the school immunisation nurses will try to catch them up at their next visit.
