Coronation Choir<\/b><\/h4>\n

Parents and students are invited to take part in the Coronation Choir with The Song Company. Friends, Supporters, Choirs and Singers of all levels across Australia are welcome to be included in this special once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!<\/p>\n

Esteemed British Choral Conductor,\u00a0Eamonn Dougan<\/strong> joins The Song Company over one festive weekend in May to rehearse and direct \u2018Coronation Choir\u2019<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Renowned for his work with the world\u2019s leading vocal groups including\u00a0The Sixteen, I Fagiolini,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Britten Sinfonia Voices<\/strong>, Dougan brings a wealth of expertise to this exciting venture. Friends, audience members, supporters, choristers and anybody who likes to sing to join Dougan and <\/span>The Song Company\u00a0as part of large, massed voice<\/span> Coronation Choir are warmly invited.<\/p>\n

Expertly directed by Eamonn Dougan, the Coronation Choir\u00a0will perform alongside The Song Company in an uplifting and celebratory program of Coronation gems of the English Baroque. These include Handel\u2019s famous\u00a0Zadok the Priest<\/strong>, a selection of\u00a0Coronation Anthems\u00a0<\/strong>and other music for royal occasions by\u00a0Handel<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Purcell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
