This is particularly important before school (6.30am \u2013 8.30am) and after school (2.45pm \u2013 5.30pm) as our students, staff and community members all use these pedestrian crossings.<\/p>\n<p>We have recently seen a number of drivers fail to stop when pedestrians are within two metres of the crossing and this is extremely concerning. We do not want recent near misses to turn into tragedies.
