Term 2 Sport Information<\/strong><\/h4>\n

All Term 2 sports activities will commence in Week 1. Please click here<\/a> for all the information on Primary Sport Venues, Dates and Times.<\/p>\n

IPSHA sport<\/strong><\/h4>\n

IPSHA sport commences on Saturday 3 May. Please check Clipboard to ensure you are aware of your daughter\u2019s fixture for Round 1.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A quick reminder for all parents and supporters taken from the IPSHA rules.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

\u2022 Focus on the efforts and performance of the children rather than the result<\/p>\n

\u2022 Children play organised sports for fun. They are not playing for spectators\u2019 entertainment, nor are they miniature professionals.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Applaud good performances and efforts from each team. Congratulate all participants upon their performance regardless of the game\u2019s outcome.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Respect the officials\u2019 decision.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Never ridicule or scold a child for making a mistake during a competition.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Positive comments are motivational and encourage continued effort.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Show respect for your team\u2019s opponents. Without them there would be no game.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Encourage players to follow the rules and the officials\u2019 decisions.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Demonstrate appropriate social behaviour by not using foul language, or harassing players, coaches or officials.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Comments should not interfere with the running of the game.<\/p>\n

Student Achievements<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Congratulations to Lark Xiao (Year 3) for her outstanding effort and result at the NSWPSSA on Thursday 10 April at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. Lark swam in the 50m Freestyle event. She recorded a personal best time in her race and placed first overall, making her the state champion for the 50m Freestyle. Congratulations Lark!<\/p>\n

Does your daughter compete in any sport outside of school (for example, at a representative level or a sport we do not currently offer)? If so, I would love to celebrate their achievements by recognising them in this newsletter!<\/p>\n
