Congratulations to Lily Cooney (Year 11) who competed in the 3000m at the Zatopek 10 that was held in Melbourne over the holidays. This event doubles as the Australian All Schools Championships in addition to attracting a high calibre field including Olympic runners.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Lily was successful in placing 5th<\/sup> overall in the U17 years age group in a time of 10:19.85.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to our SCEGGS students who represented Easts Touch Roosters at the Junior State Cup last weekend that was held in Wagga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The East U18 Roosters team was successful in reaching the grand-final. They were defeated by the Wagga team 13 -8 in a closely fought match. It was terrific to be able to watch the Grand Final with most games being live streamed over the weekend!<\/p>\n
