Girls should bring their instruments to school and come to the DB Centre for rehearsal after buses return from the carnival.<\/p>\n<p>Please refer to Clipboard to confirm which ensembles your daughter is enrolled in.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact our Music Administrator <a href=\"mailto:AliceKotowicz@sceggs.nsw.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alice Kotowicz<\/a> if you wish to discuss enrolling in a music ensemble.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Most music tuition lessons resume in Week 2, from Monday 3 February.<\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Timetables for individual music lessons can be found on Cognito and are usually circulated by the tutors. This annual event was held at the St John\u2019s Darlinghurst Church Hall on the Friday after Speech Night. Special thanks to the students and staff who gave up time during the school holidays, especially Ms Stephanie Holmes and Mrs Anne Sweeney. Bianca and Audrey played in Orange Strings, while Mrs Anne Sweeney conducted Pink Strings. A wonderful showcase concert was held at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Congratulations Bianca and Audrey!<\/p>\n<p><em> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-19130 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/56\/2025\/01\/Sydney-Youth-Orchestra-e1738034053957.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"491\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>National Choral School<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Gondwana Choir\u2019s National Choral School annually brings together some of the finest and most enthusiastic young choral singers from all over Australia for rehearsals and performances.\u00a0 SCEGGS\u2019 Year 10 choristers Eva Ancher and Josie Grayden successfully auditioned to participate in this two week residential camp at Sydney University\u2019s Women\u2019s College in January.\u00a0 Their experience concluded with two showcase concerts at Sydney Conservatorium of Music culminating in a massed performance with two hundred and fifty singers.
