Have you seen or heard any little magical moments happening at SCEGGS lately? It may just be because the fairies have come to our school!<\/p>\n

A wonderful artistic opportunity is available to everyone in the SCEGGS community to be part of this magic! You can purchase an artwork and help to fund scholarships at the same time!<\/p>\n

Renowned artist and Old Girl of SCEGGS Kathy McCombie has created a beautiful work called \u2018The Fairies Take Over SCEGGS Darlinghurst\u2019, which is available as an original artwork or a limited edition print.<\/p>\n

This artwork was created especially for our school \u2013 see if you can find all the \u2018SCEGGS treasures\u2019 hidden in the painting:<\/strong><\/p>\n

People:<\/strong> Ms Allum, Mr Lee-Lindsay, Mrs Dempsey and her dog Minnie, former Heads, Mrs Morice, a Grammar boy, and more!<\/p>\n

Places:<\/strong> The Green Gate, The Great Hall, The Chapel, The Sports Hall, Barham, The Old Girls\u2019 Building, The Joan Freeman Building, The Primary School, The Lawn, The Fig Tree, and more!<\/p>\n

There are also 22 other treasures to find – a butterfly, hot air balloon, flag, astronomer, ballerina fairy, pixie walking a snail, dragonfly, owl, chicks in a nest, peacock, aircraft, fisherman, bike, mandala, witch, black cat, chickens, balloon, boat, fireflies, scooter and pram.<\/p>\n

Everyone in the SCEGGS community is invited to purchase one of the special limited edition prints of \u2018The Fairies Take Over SCEGGS Darlinghurst\u2019! It is priced very reasonably at $150 and can be picked up at the Festival on Forbes or from the School Business Office.<\/p>\n

A large proportion of the proceeds from the sale of the print will be donated to the School to contribute to the Old Girls\u2019 Scholarship Fund, to assist girls in the future to have the benefit of a SCEGGS education.<\/p>\n
