Congratulations to the Primary A, Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 11 Eastside, and Senior B teams for winning their ISDA debates against Sydney Grammar (ISDA) and SBHS (Eastside) on Friday.<\/p>\n

Next week, ISDA will be held at St Joseph\u2019s College. The bus will be leaving straight after school, so all debaters need to be prepared with pens, paper\/palm cards, and food. St Joseph\u2019s College has specifically advised that if any debater wants a \u2018substantial supper\u2019 rather than a \u2018light snack\u2019 they will need to bring their own food. A bus will return to SCEGGS at the conclusion of the evening, meaning that debaters returning to SCEGGS will leave St Joseph\u2019s College at 8.45pm. ISDA debates will be on the topic area of \u2018Social Issues.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Year 7 ISDA debate has been rescheduled to after school on Monday 18 March \u2013 prep will be at 3.45, and the debate will go from 4.30-5.30pm. The debate will be held on Zoom so debaters will stay at SCEGGS.<\/p>\n

Round 2 of Eastside will be hosted at SCEGGS, and we will be debating Rose Bay Secondary College. Eastside debates will be on the topic area of \u2018Law and Justice.\u2019 Year 7 Eastside debaters returning from camp must debate in school uniform.<\/p>\n
