{"id":13569,"date":"2024-02-22T12:54:50","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T01:54:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/sceggs\/?post_type=article&#038;p=13569"},"modified":"2024-02-22T12:54:50","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T01:54:50","slug":"primary-music","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/sceggs\/article\/primary-music\/","title":{"rendered":"Primary Music"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>Assembly Music<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Thank you to Aleisha Yeung (Year 5) for her performance of March of the Toreadors by Bizet at the first Years 3 \u2013 6 Assembly this term.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>SCEGGS Eisteddfod<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The SCEGGS Music Eisteddfod is an opportunity for all musicians currently taking private lessons, inside or outside of school to \u2018Play (and sing) your heart out.\u2019<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Entry into the Eisteddfod is free, and applications are now open.<\/li>\n<li>Entry forms have been emailed to all Secondary students and all Primary parents.<\/li>\n<li>A well-prepared piece at the student\u2019s current ability level is best. The girls rehearse every Saturday morning at Santa Sabina School in Strathfield, alongside string players from all over Sydney. They will have wonderful performance opportunities throughout the year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, the Sydney Opera House and the annual SYO Big Busk in locations around the Sydney CBD. This is an exciting new chapter in Hana and Bronte\u2019s musical journey, and we wish them all the very best!
