Science Camp Opportunity for Year 11 Students<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) is a fun and educational camp for Year 11 students interested in Science. Back more than 20 years ago, Mrs Sharma attended NYSF, and had a fantastic time \u2013 she even met her husband there!<\/p>\n

Introducing the 2024 NYSF Year 12 Program<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The NYSF Year 12 Program is designed to give students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to encourage continued studies in these fields.\u200b<\/p>\n

The NYSF Year 12 Program runs two summer sessions. Participants stay at university colleges and are immersed in science and technology.\u00a0<\/p>\n

  1. The Australian National University, Canberra (5-13 January 2024)<\/li>\n
  2. The University of Queensland, Brisbane (12-20 January 2024)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Current Year 11 students can start preparing their applications by:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Finding a copy of their most recent school report<\/li>\n
    2. Asking a teacher to complete a reference<\/li>\n
    3. Drafting answers to the application questions<\/li>\n
    4. If they\u2019ll need financial support to attend the program, reach out to their local Rotary Club to enquire about possible support.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
