Parents’ and Friends’ Association

A very warm welcome to 2023 from the SCEGGS Parents’ & Friends Association (P&F).  We would particularly like to welcome all new families to our SCEGGS community and extend our warmest wishes to you and your daughters as you begin your SCEGGS journey.

Thank you to everyone, especially our hardworking 2022 class parents, for your contributions to community school life, and especially your generosity and participation in our Fabulous Festival on Forbes, which was the most successful ever.

We were particularly thrilled that all of our scheduled P&F events were able to proceed in 2022 after a rough few years with the COVID-19 pandemic. The P&F is extremely hopeful that the all of our “friend making” events for 2023 will proceed, of course subject to School directive and NSW Health guidelines. 

The P&F would like to encourage everyone to participate in our School community as much as possible.  We will be publishing events each week in this newsletter as well as communications direct to your respective year groups, organized by the class parents 2023.

For now, we ask that you Save the Date for these events in Term 1:

• Year 7 Welcome Picnic – Sunday 5 February
• Class Parent Briefing (for Class Parents and Committee Members) – Monday 13 February
• Years 9 & 10 Father Daughter Breakfast – Friday 17 February
• P&F Cocktail Party for all Current Parents – Friday 3 March
• Term 1 P&F Meeting and AGM – Tuesday 7 February
