Seniors Festival Launch – Basie Jazz Band
The SCEGGS Darlinghurst Basie Jazz Band were invited to perform as part of the Woollahra Council’s Seniors Festival Launch on Wednesday 1 February. Students performed songs from their repertoire including – to the delight of the audience who attended. The girls specially rehearsed ahead of the term in preparation for this special performance. Thank you to Mr Michael Tierney (Director of Bands) for organising the opportunity and to Ms Alison Ryan who directed the band’s performance. Well done girls and we look forward to hearing you at the P&F Cocktail Party!
Music Ensemble Rehearsals
The Directors and conductors from Band, Strings and Choir are looking forward to meeting their ensembles in their first rehearsals. Communication will be sent from your ensemble Director for the first rehearsals.

Music Ensemble Sign-Up at the Co-Curricular Expo – Wednesday 8 February 1pm Sports Hall
Welcoming any new or newly interested students that have would like to sign-up for Music ensemble participation this year or would like to ask questions about ensembles. The Music staff would love to see you and answer any questions next Wednesday 8 February (Week 2) at 1pm in the Sports Hall. Looking forward to seeing you there!
