Champion House: Badham

The extended SCEGGS Swimming squad will be selected this week to attend the MLC Invitational Swimming Carnival on Friday 20 February. At this carnival all swimmers will have the opportunity to improve upon their SCEGGS carnival and NSW Swimming times.  Following this, the final team for the IGSA Swimming Championships to be held at SOPAC on March 13 will be finalised.

If any parents have any questions regarding this process, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself.

Inter-House Touch

The Inter-House Touch competition will be held on Thursday 19 February at the Robertson Rd Fields from 3.30pm-5pm. Buses will take all students out the venue at 3.15pm and back again at 5pm at the completion of the event.

This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to mix with and get to know students from other year groups in your houses. We hope to see as many students as possible next Thursday. Dressing in house colours is strongly encouraged and having fun is compulsory!

Thank you to all the Year 10 peer mentor and touch players who assisted with the recent Year 7 Touch Trials throughout Week 1. Your assistance was greatly appreciated. We had nearly 240 students trialling across 18 touch team on Super Saturday in Week 1. In hot conditions everyone still gave their very best in true SCEGGS style.

The Easts Touch comp got off to a successful start last weekend at Queens Park and Mission Fields. A reminder to arrive early as traffic is busy on a Saturday morning around the Centennial Park precinct.
