Saturday Sport
In IPSHA Minky/Hockey, the combined Year 5/6 team had a close 2-0 win against Kincoppal. Mrs Sweeney was impressed with the ball movement and passing of this team. The IPSHA Netball teams came away with two wins, four losses and a draw. The standard in IPSHA Netball this term is proving high. The two Year 6 teams led the way, with the 6A team managing a 17-9 win, and the 6B team confidently defeating Meriden 10-0.
Round 1 of the Year 3 Touch Football competition kicked off last Saturday and three SCEGGS teams were in action at Kambala. It was the first time playing a full game of Touch Football for many of the girls, and they all did an excellent job picking up the rules and game tactics. It was also wonderful to see the smiles on so many faces of the girls who really seemed to enjoy the game. The teams came away with two wins and a draw. Congratulations girls on an excellent start to the season and looking forward to seeing how you go in the coming weeks.
A reminder for Saturday sport, to please ensure your daughter arrives at the venue ready to start the warmup 30 minutes before the scheduled game time.
