1500m Races

Well done to the huge number of girls who got involved in the 1500m races on Monday at ES Marks. With almost 40 girls in the open ages event, it was a hotly contested race. Congratulations to all involved.

Further congratulations go to Beatrice Emanuel (10 Years) and Anna Slack (12 Years), who both broke the existing Primary 1500m record set last year by Annabelle Jessup (5:42.67). Anna (5:34.79) narrowly beat Beatrice (5:35.23) in a large field of competitors. Well done girls!

Years 5/6 AFL Carnival

Coming up on Wednesday, Week 8 of this term, we look forward to entering our first-ever team in The Paul Kelly Cup, the largest AFL Schools Carnival in NSW and ACT.

We are looking for 15 girls who are playing AFL next term, to participate in this fantastic competition. Our first official training session at Tuesday lunchtime for those girls selected.

Does your daughter compete in any sport outside of school (for example, at a representative level or a sport we do not currently offer)? If so, I would love to celebrate their achievements by recognising them in this newsletter!
