Stage One Explore The 13-Storey Treehouse
Stage One enjoyed reading the first two chapters of the 13-Storey Treehouse by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. In this story Andy and Terry live in an amazing treehouse with crazy and inventive rooms. Stage One brainstormed different rooms they could design for a treehouse. They worked on creating their own room by carefully sketching, outlining and colouring. Some of the rooms designed included the stunt room, the sport room, the elephant room, the pet paradise room, an underwater aquarium room and the pillow room (Mrs Luke’s favourite for reading). Mrs Luke, Mrs Eagleton and Mrs Downes were very impressed with these young, creative Stage One designers.

Kindergarten create ‘Stickmen’ and ‘Stickladies’
Kindergarten have enjoyed InitiaLit picture books being read by their teachers and uploaded to Seesaw during remote learning. This week, Stickman by Julia Donaldson was loved by all. Children then used their imaginations to create their own ‘Stickmen’ and ‘Stickladies’ to take them on their own adventures…stay safe Stickman!
