Head of Junior School

This week a strong team of swimmers is off to CIS primary competition at Sydney Olympic aquatic centre. There’s a netball team playing at the NSW Netball Cup. Twenty three students worked hard at the Junior School Concert Band rehearsal on Tuesday. Over 25 students signed up for Stage 3 rugby and choir has a room full of enthusiastic singers each week. CRU on Wednesday has up to 60 students across K-6 and CRU student leaders were at a training day earlier in the week.

These are some of the co-curricular offerings we have at the College. There’s something for everyone and all are coordinated by our wonderful teaching staff. One of the best ways for a young student to learn and grow is to get involved in an activity they are good at, interested in, or wondering about.

One fantastic opportunity this year will be Wakakirri for years 3 to 6. Students will be able to express an interest in joining the cast, backstage, props, crew etc and auditions will be held if needed. For those not involved, we will be designing CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts) activities for every student. What a fantastic way to find out your strength!
