It was inspiring to see our First Nations Scholars, all of whom are boarders, take the lead during Reconciliation Week. The week culminated on Saturday, where our boarders embraced the opportunities of the First Nations Rounds.

This week at Pymble, the Junior School is celebrating reaching their kindness challenge target, with students embracing unstructured and risky play to build resilience and confidence. Parents are encouraged to attend the upcoming Year 5 Showcase and foster moments of mindful stillness and imaginative boredom for their children over the long weekend.

This week at Pymble, we celebrated Refugee Week with inspiring stories from three young Afghan women and deepened our understanding of reconciliation through student-created yarning sticks. We're also cheering on our Year 7 debaters in the ISDA NSW Grand Final and gearing up for the Secondary School Athletics Carnival.

As we approach the King’s Birthday long weekend, we acknowledge the hard work and dedication our Year 9 and 10 students have demonstrated throughout an action-packed first six weeks of term. It has been wonderful to see the girls making the most of various Co-Curricular opportunities while striving for academic success.

As we head into the long weekend, we encourage everyone in our school community to take this opportunity to rest and recharge. The start of the term has been full of activity, from academic assessments and excursions to major events on the sporting and cultural calendar. It’s important to pause, breathe, and allow ourselves the time to reset.
