Congratulations to our Secondary School students for a great two-day Swimming and Diving Carnival this week. Junior School, it’s your turn tomorrow. Summoning the courage to have a go and soaking up all that joyful House spirit is an important part of school life, promoting so many positive attributes, including pride, unity and the sense of belonging that will help each student to thrive.
This week we have had the joy of sharing the wonderfulness of Lunar New Year as a Junior School community.
Tuesday was our annual Year 8 Mind, Body, Spirit Day which was held at Long Reef Beach, and we were blessed with magnificent weather.
Congratulations to all Upper School students for their involvement in the swimming carnival. It was great to see our talented swimmers in action in the pool and a positive spirit on the pool deck.
Our Year 11 students returned from their retreat fresh and ready to learn. In their time away they have learnt some valuable skills in leadership, empowerment and have gained an insight into their motivators.
It is lovely to be back in the rhythm of living on campus and seeing our Boarders thrive. It has been another action-packed week and there has been much to celebrate.
It’s hard to believe that we have almost finished Week 3 of term! To all who are celebrating the new Lunar New Year, I wish you much happiness and many blessings for this Year of the Dragon.
