This week we were delighted to welcome to Combined Assembly one of our Pymble parents, who also happens to be the 2024 Co-Australian of the Year. Professor Georgina Long AO is just as proud of her title of ‘Mum’ as she is of her recent award and her professional titles. She spoke to students about the important lessons she learned as a child and how they led to her pioneering work in melanoma treatment that is saving lives around the world today.
This week our courageous Year 6 girls head off on their Outdoor Education Program at Glenworth Valley.

It was a busy week for Boarding as we watched The Addams Family musical and headed to Watson's Bay on the weekend.
The first International Women's Day was celebrated in 1911, begun by a radical band of suffragettes. I was reading a novel about a suffragette the other day - women who fought for equality for women and their right to vote. The story goes like this.
