Water Polo

During the holidays three of our Pymble students competed in the National State Championships at the AIS in Canberra: Lucinda Middleton (Year10) in the NSW U15 Waratahs team, Keira Mironova (Year10) Captain of the NSW U15 Blues team and Zara Cooke (Year 9) Vice captain of the NSW U15 Blues team.  It was a huge and successful six day tournament. 

NSW Blue team played off in the gold medal match against the top QLD team and unfortunately went down 11 to 7. 

Congratulations to Kiera and Zara who came away with the National Silver Medal and to Lucinda whose team came 5th overall.  

Keira and Zara were also selected following the competition into the U15’s National Age Group Program that stayed on at the AIS for six days to complete a training camp with the Australian Squad, congratulations to Keira and Zara on this selection and opportunity.
