Touch Football

We extend our congratulations for the outstanding performance of our Pymble touch footballers who participated in the NSW All Schools Touch Football Gala Day held on Wednesday 14 June and Thursday 15 June. Over the course of these two days, our Year 7 and Year 8 teams exhibited remarkable improvement. With their exceptional execution of draw and pass techniques, as well strong drives up the middle, our players secured a spot in the quarter finals. In this intense matchup against Stella Marist, they fought fiercely and showcased numerous incredible touches. Although they narrowly lost by three tries to the eventual grand final winners, their determination and effort were truly commendable.

A similar narrative unfolded in the Year 9 and Year 10 competition. Our players displayed their prowess right from the beginning, delivering impressive performances during the pool series and ultimately finishing second in our pool. Our Pymble footballers progressed to the quarter finals going down to the grand final winners Mackellar Girls. Our esteemed coaches, Barry and Jono, were thoroughly impressed by how our Pymble players effectively translated their coaches’ instructions into action.

Congratulations on a fantastic two days of competition and we look forward to Term 4 Touch Football!
