Round 5 of IGSA Netball kicked off this Saturday with some impressive Netball games on display.

Congratulations to our Netball Team of the Week Pymble 28. This team has been given the award for turning up and giving it their best and showing courage and determination in any position they are asked to play. Many in this team are playing in their first netball season and we are really impressed with how much they have improved by round 5. Keep up the good work Pymble 28:

Isabella Du (Year 7), Lily Xiao (Year 7), Kathy Huo (Year 7), Cyma Shah (Year 7), Ruoyuan Shen (Year 7), Ashira Fonseka (Year 7), Chloe Shao (Year 7), Annie Chen (Year 7), Tia Pillai (Year 7), Kayla Ma (Year 7)and Ella Zhang (Year 7)

Congratulations to Johanna Ricketts (Year 9), Sophie Laing (Year 10), Jessica Cullen (Year 10) who represented IGSA on Monday 21 August at the CIS Challenge held at Netball Central. Both the 15 and Under and Opens teams came away with a silver medal. Another big congratulations to Sophie Laing (Year 10) on her selection in the CIS 15 and Under team. Sophie will compete in the All Schools Challenge day later in term 3. Well done Sophie on this fantastic achievement.

As we head into Round 6 of Netball, I would like to remind all students to turn up to both training sessions and games on time please. If your games are offsite at another venue, please make sure you allow time for traffic and parking. This will ensure that all players have adequate time to warm up and teams are ready to play for the start of the game.
