Junior School Sport

This week’s Team of the Week goes to IPSHA Touch Football Pymble 6 (Year 4). Due to an unfortunate turn of events with our scheduled opponents failing to appear for the match, our Pymble players took the opportunity to kick off Father’s Day celebrations early with a “Dads vs Daughters” touch football match.

Pymble 6 demonstrated commendable sportsmanship and adaptability against the dads, using the time on the field as a valuable training opportunity. There were lots of smiles from both Dads and daughters and a healthy debate as to who won the game. The dads thought they had the win, but as “last try always wins,” Pymble 6 were victorious with a try scored on the full-time whistle. Well done to all involved. It was a fun game to watch.

Pymble was represented by 25 girls and all athletes performed extremely well, showing great determination and Pymble spirit.
