New Attractions

This year we have plenty of new attractions, from bigger rollercoasters to new animal exhibits. Enjoy a pony ride on Main Oval or visit our Foundation Stall to find out more about our philanthropic endeavours. Adults can enjoy a Hillbilly Cider at their stall, the Waffle Pop stand will attract all punters and new sporting activities can be found on Main Oval – there’s something for everyone!

Other Activities

All of our old favourites from Cake decorating to sheep shearing, Pimms and Lemonade to the Knox Pipe Band and plenty of mouthwatering international foods will all be available on Saturday.

Fun Diveis also an exciting activity for adults and kids to try.  Led by Chris Lang, Pymble’s Head Coach of Diving, Fun Dive will give you the rare opportunity to learn the principles of diving, participate in a session guided by an expert coach and truly understand the courage involved in this fantastic sport.

Stall Volunteers Needed

A couple of stalls still require volunteers. If you have an hour to spare, volunteering at a stall is a great way to connect with other parents and staff. You can sign up at the links below;

Reminders

  • Cake Stall; a note for our bakers: Friday and Saturday are predicted to be very warm. If you are dropping off baked goods that are dressed in buttercream, we suggest dropping them off on the morning of Garden Party (Saturday) instead of Friday afternoon as we will not be able to refrigerate them on Friday evening.
  • Parking; parking will be scarce as the campus is closed to traffic on the day. We suggest catching the train to Pymble Station from where the College is a short five-minute walk away.
  • Pets; no dogs are allowed on campus on the day of Garden Party (assistance dogs excepted). We do have a range of animals onsite for various activities (e.g., sheep shearing, petting zoo and pony rides) and for their wellbeing we need to keep the grounds free of domestic pets.
  • Weather conditions; the weather outlook for Saturday is very warm with a top of 32 degrees. Please remember to wear sunscreen and a hat. Hats will be available for purchase at the Information Stall. We will also have a range of parasols available and sunscreen for those who forget. There will be plenty of water available for purchase on the day, as well as water bottle refill stations on Lang and Gloucester Lawn, Main Oval and the garden of Marden Lawn. Sunscreen will be available at the Information Stall at Flagpole.
