Holiday Golf Success

Throughout the holidays, our Pymble golfers chipped, putted, and swung their way through various golf courses and competitions. Congratulations to the following students and their efforts over the holidays.

Sarah Quan (Year 8)

Congratulations to Sarah who qualified to go to the 2024 Bonville Champion Trophy. To qualify for this event, a student must win a Jack Newton Tour Event. Sarah also competed at and won the Harvey Norman Sydney Week of Golf U13 Championships.

Sarah competed in the Jack Newton Sheild, coming runner up in the Year 8 girls division and fourth place overall in the Years 7 to 9 girls division.

Sophie Tong (Year 6)

Congratulations to Sophie who compete at The Vintage in the Hunter Valley in the Jack Newton Junior Golf International Sub Junior Classic, from Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 October. This tournament saw players travelling from across to compete. Sophie was the champion for the girls 12 years division and second place overall for girls 14 and under.

Sophie also shot her first under par score, which was a personal best.

Congratulations to both Sarah and Sophie on their incredible efforts over the holiday period.
