From the Futures Team
Introducing our Expert in Residence, Amy Rogers
The College has welcomed Amy Rogers, distinguished Consultant with the Carney, Sandoe and Associates as our visiting expert in residence from 20 to 30 August. She is working with our Futures Department, Pymble staff and students to increase our understanding of study pathways to the USA. Furthermore, she presented workshops to a professional network of Careers Advisors from ICGS Schools on supporting student aspirations for study at US Colleges and to parents and students of ICGS Schools on advice when considering study in the USA.

Amy brings a wealth of experience from her 15 years at Miss Porter’s School in Connecticut, where she served as Dean of College Counseling and contributed significantly to the school’s Center for Global Leadership. Her leadership extends to roles at several prestigious institutions, including The Taft School and Phillips Academy Andover, where she has influenced college counseling, admissions, and educational leadership. She holds a B.A. in English from Bucknell University and an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. With a passion for helping people design their best lives, she is also a certified coach with expertise in Positive Psychology.
We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from Amy and thank Dr Hadwen and the ICGS for their support.
