From the Futures Team
Careers Expo
We are proud to bring you the 2024 Pymble Careers Expo. This key event in the Futures event calendar provides our College and broader community with an opportunity to learn more about future pathways and career prospects.
This year, we are focusing on the theme of Explore the Possibilities, encouraging students and families to shift their perceptions of traditional careers of women and girls and to challenge themselves to make a difference in the gender representation and diversity across sectors such as Construction and Engineering.
A variety of presentations and workshops facilitated by tertiary and industry representatives will allow attendees to learn about essential information for university applications, local and global trends in the workforce and beyond.
Please come join our community in learning about the possibilities as our students explore their future pathways.

Work Experience at Tesla
Over five days during the April holidays we had the fantastic opportunity to experience a ‘big tech’ working environment at Tesla. We experienced the complexities of marketing as well as servicing vehicles. Our experience included observing technicians, sales advisors, finance, order and operations, customer engagement and engineers at work. We even got to ride in the most popular Tesla models, and it was a magical experience as the car interior felt like we’d been teleported onto a spaceship. We had meetings with those who specialise in engineering, finance and marketing and discovered how large companies function on a day-to-day basis. We were also taught the importance of networking skills and how make ourselves employable via LinkedIn and CV-building sessions.
Further opportunities to participate in Work Experience with TESLA are available this year, students can sign up using the link in the Work Experience Board.
