Welcome back!

Welcome to Term 4 – I hope you all had a wonderful and restful break. It’s hard to believe that we are close to the end of 2023 already. This is always one of the busiest terms and this year is no exception. Please refer to the table below for our upcoming community events. I look forward to catching up with many of you over the coming weeks.

Pymble Foundation Gala Ball

We are on the official countdown to the inaugural Pymble Foundation Gala Ball at the Art Gallery of NSW this Saturday night. We are excited to celebrate all things Pymble with our community whist supporting the Pymble Foundation to invest in people, places and programs.

If you aren’t able to join us this weekend, you can still show your support by bidding in our Silent Auction and buying tickets in the Raffle with some amazing prizes up for grabs:

First prize: 2023 Sea-Doo 130 Jet Ski (valued at $20,000)

Second prize: Five-night stay for two people at NOOE Maldives Resort (valued at $5,000)

Third prize: LG OLED Evo C3 55-inch 4k Smart TV (valued at $3,300)

Fourth prize: Apple AirPods Max (valued at $900)

All funds raised by the Pymble Foundation benefit current and future generations of  Pymble girls by funding buildings and facilities, scholarships, bursaries and other programs. It also enables the College to remain a world leader in educating girls and young women.

Pymble Parent Association (PPA) Annual General Meeting and College Board Thank You Cocktail Party

The PPA Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 17 October in the David Macfarlane Centre from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. The PPA is a crucial part of Pymble life, running many events and activities throughout the year that would not be possible without their support.

The meeting will include an overview of PPA activities for 2023, voting and an induction for the 2024 committee and plans for the coming year. It will also cover the Term 4 Secondary School Parent Group meeting. The AGM is a great opportunity to connect with other parents and College staff and develop an understanding of the many events and initiatives the PPA assists with.

Please click here to view the agenda.

Immediately following the AGM at 7.00pm, the College Board invites all parent volunteers of any capacity to join James Hunter, Chair of the Board on Gloucester Lawn for the College Board Thank You Cocktail Party.

This event recognises the hard work and dedication of all our parent and carer volunteers throughout the year. If you have donated your time or provided other support in 2023, we want to celebrate your contribution and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the College with some delicious food and drinks. We hope to see you there.
