From the Co-curricular Performing Arts Team

Last Friday night was very special as I had the privilege to attend both the Year 12 Curriculum Music showcase and the RAD Ballet Stream production of The King of the Polar Bears.

Two markedly contrasting events in terms of the artistic intentions, styles and forms, venue and also scope of student participation. However, both events undoubtedly superb in impact.

I left Pymble at the end of this night, awed by these two vivid examples of the breadth and depth of performing arts opportunities for all girls at this extraordinary school.

Every week, I read every word of the Performing Arts reports and the ongoing achievements of the students. Every week, I applaud the commitment that all our performing arts students continue to display in their ongoing experiences of the performing arts.
