A Magnificent End to the Term
The achievements of the various eisteddfod dance ensembles in the Extreme Eisteddfod on Sunday were astounding. The great results have been celebrated by Miss Gardiner in the Dance section below. As one of many fiercely enthusiastic supporters of the various Pymble dance ensembles, my own heart swelled with pride as each group of Pymble dancers entered the stage with heads held proudly high. Each and every dancer proceeded to dance their hearts out in technically-tight routines imbued with sophisticated and spectacular choreography.
The Senior Ensemble Concert and Concerto Competition on Wednesday night were triumphant reflections of the abundantly talented music ensembles at Pymble. Every ensemble played or sang with verve and passion to engage the enthralled audience. It was a privilege to witness the collaborative excellence created by the committed contribution of every instrumental player and chorister so expertly led by their associated conductors. The two finalists in the Concerto Competition must be commended for the extraordinary calibre of their performance work. Bravo!
I would like to thank sincerely every tutor, coach and instructor who has contributed to the achievements of the Pymble students involved in the Performing Arts. Thanks also to the Coordinators and Heads who lead all of the various Performing Arts ensembles and teams. Your collective commitment and dedication do not go unnoticed.
