From the Co-curricular Performing Arts Team
As leaves turn golden and deep red and the weather becomes, as Keats described, “a season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,” the performance ensembles of Music, Drama, Dance and Language Arts continue to flourish and resonate.
Please see the current reports presented below of the areas of Language Arts and Music in the Senior School and the myriad of events that ensue in these thriving areas.
A triumph of student leadership in the Performing Arts has been the ongoing Performing Arts Competition (PAC) which will culminate in the Best of PAC performance event in the Gillian Moore Centre for Performing Arts on May 24 from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Piper Markson and Claire Oslington have been the passionate and inspiring leaders of this now iconic event in the Pymble Performing Arts calendar.
All are welcome to this event to witness the celebration of students from the Senior School who have been selected from last week’s fabulous PAC preliminary performances before enthusiastic and supportive student audiences in the amphitheatre.
