NSW Schools Fencing Championships Epee Competition: Alexandra Hargraves (Year 8) takes Third Place, Jenny Ling (Year 8) Sixth, and Imogen Wu (Year 9) Seventh.

It was a day of fierce competition and electrifying energy as the NSW Schools Fencing Championships Epee Competition unfolded. Fencers from schools across the region gathered to showcase their skills, determination, and sportsmanship. Among the participants were Alexandra, Jenny, and Imogen, who demonstrated exceptional talent and resilience throughout the long day of intense fencing.

With a total of 21 poule bouts followed by elimination rounds, the competition proved to be a gruelling test of endurance and skill. However, these young athletes approached the challenge head-on, giving their all in each bout and displaying a remarkable level of focus and commitment.

The girls should be so proud of their achievements at the NSW Schools Fencing Championships Epee Competition. They showcased exceptional skill, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Their commitment to the sport and the admirable way they represented their schools as we lead into the team competitions in the coming weeks!
