Welcome Back to Term 2 2025
Welcome back to Term 2 of Co-curricular Drama at Pymble! We hope you all enjoyed a restful break.
Last term, our students embraced new challenges, preparing for the upcoming Eisteddfod season while sharpening their movement, voice, and performance skills. The highlight was our Year 10 to 12 production, You’re Just Too Good To Be Shrew, which brought joy and laughter with its sharp-witted comedy. Congratulations to all involved on a truly memorable performance!
As we look ahead to an action-packed term, we’d like to remind everyone of a few important details to ensure a smooth start.
Drama Uniform
All students are required to wear their co-curricular Drama uniform for every lesson. The uniform allows for comfortable movement, essential to our drama activities. If you have not yet purchased the Drama shirt, please do so via the Uniform Shop before your first class. The shirt should be paired with plain black trousers/ leggings.
Competitions
This term marks the start of Eisteddfod season for many of our Drama classes. Each class will participate in two competitions, and initial details should already have been received via the app. As some dates and times are still being finalised, please keep an eye on your Pymble app for updates.
On competition days, students must arrive in their Drama uniform and bring their costumes to change into upon arrival at the venue (changing facilities will be provided). Please ensure hair and makeup, if required, is done prior to arrival.
Upon arrival, students should meet their supervising teacher outside the venue entrance and remain under supervision until instructed to enter. All students must be dropped off and collected by guardians unless alternative arrangements have been made and approved by Rebecca York (Co-curricular Drama Co-ordinator).
