Drama

Drama

What a fantastic first term it has been for Co-curricular Drama. From the enthusiastic commencement of our weekly classes to the spectacular senior Drama production You’re Just Too Good To Be Shrew, Term 1 has been filled with creativity, collaboration, and growth. Congratulations to all students for your commitment and energy—you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved.

Throughout Term 1, our students have been busy developing foundational performance skills and building confidence on stage. Our skills classes have focused on key areas such as projection, physicality, characterisation, and vocal technique, while our eisteddfod groups have been hard at work devising original and engaging pieces in preparation for the upcoming competition season in Term 2.

A Few Important Reminders

  • Drama Uniform: A friendly reminder that all students must wear the Drama uniform to their after-school classes in Term 2. This uniform supports full movement and creative expression during rehearsals. If you haven’t already purchased the Drama shirt, it is available now at the Uniform Shop. Please pair it with any black bottoms that allow for ease of movement, and make sure to have it packed and ready for the start of next term!
  • Eisteddfod Season: As competition season approaches for those in group, trio, duo, and monologue classes, please ensure you are checking your emails regularly for important updates, confirmations, and any adjustments regarding your performances.
