Cyma Shah and Isabella Benjamin received a Highly Commended award for their powerful performance of “Jasper Jones.” This piece demands a high level of maturity and professionalism to portray its serious themes effectively, and they executed it with great skill. Well done!

Shakespeare Carnival Grand Final
Our young filmmakers, Ayla Gortan, Cyma Shah, Sierra Borean, and Lulu Li, competed in the Shakespeare Carnival Grand Final with their short film “Sonnet 98.” Although they did not place, their emotive storytelling and beautiful poetry received high praise from the audience. Their efforts were rewarded with a filmmaking workshop with the Bell Shakespeare Company, where they had the opportunity to further develop their skills and create a short film in just one day. This experience provided valuable professional insight and one-on-one mentoring, significantly enhancing their filmmaking abilities.
Congratulations to all our talented students for their dedication and exceptional performances. We are incredibly proud of your achievements and look forward to seeing your continued success!
