Open Nationals Diving

Congratulations to our Pymble Alumni Brittany O’Brien (2016, Olympian) and Kennedy Cooper (2018) who competed in the Open National Championships and World Aquatics Trials in Western Australia last week.

Both divers had great success with Brittany winning gold, silver and bronze medals and was selected in the Australian Team for the World Aquatics to be held in Japan later in the year. Also selected in this team was foundation “Diving Connections” Diver and Olympian Sam Fricker.

It is always exciting to watch ex-students continue to pursue their sporting endeavours on the international stage.

Level 1 Coaching Course

Last Saturday 27 May, Pymble hosted a Level 1 Diving Coaching Course. It was a wonderful opportunity for some of our divers to be coached by new and experienced coaches in the spectacular Pymble Aquatic Centre. It was encouraging to see such a large and keen group of new diving coaches.
