Basketball

Last week our Pymble Basketball team travelled to the Gold Coast for the annual Nationals tournament. This year our Pymble basketballers were placed in Division 1 competing against some of the best schools in the country.

In 2022, the team played six matches over five days; this year’s team played six matches in three days. This placed pressure on our Pymble basketballers, however through resilience and fitness, they were able to recover quickly and always perform at their best. After two tough losses on the first day the team pushed through, only losing one match and winning the remaining three. Congratulations to all in the team – to be moved up a division and finish the tournament with three wins and three losses is an amazing achievement.

Thank you, girls, for an amazing week. All students in this team should be commended for their inspirational performances and I look forward to doing it all again in 2024.
