Junior School Athletics Carnival Championship Events

Nominations for Years 2 to 6 students to compete in championship events at the upcoming Junior School Championship Athletics Carnival are now open. Nomination for a championship event is not compulsory, and the Championship Carnival will be held on Thursday 12 June. This is separate to the Junior School Carnival held at the College on Thursday 5 June where all students will attend and participate in non-championship events.

If you wish to nominate your daughter for one or more championship events, please click here. Championship events include the following:

• Long Jump
• High Jump (date to be advised)
• Shot Put
• Discus
• 800m (will be run on Thursday 5 June at 7.30am)
• 1500m (will be run on Tuesday 3 June at 7.30am)

Please note that the 100m and 200m championship events will be by invitation only. Students have trialled for these events during their curriculum PE lessons and families will be notified if selected.

Additionally, High Jump will take place at the College separate to the Athletics Carnival with the date to be confirmed.

The 1500m event will take place on Tuesday 3 June at 7.30 am, and the 800m will take place on Thursday 5 June at 7.30 am.
