Congratulations to our following Medallists from the Region Championships that took place at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre over the weekend.
Amalia Bond (Year 7) Under 13 – 1st Long Jump, 1st Triple Jump (both were region records), 2nd 100m, 3rd 200m
Samara Bond (Year 10) Under 17 – 1st 400m, 2nd in 100m, 2nd 200m
Eliza Lawton (Year 7) Under 13 – 1st 1500m, 1st 3000m
Matilda Harrison (Year 9) Under 14 – 1st 100m, 1st 200m
Claudia Wyatt (Year 7) Under 13 – 2nd 800m, 3rd 1500m
Nikki McCrostie (Year 11) Under 17 – 2nd 100m Hurdles, 2nd High Jump
Georgia Phillips (Year 11) 1st 300m Hurdles, 3rd 800m, 3rd 3000m
Gemma Dixon (Year 7) Under 12 – 1st 1500m Walk
Grace Townsend (Year 10) Under 15 – 1st 300m Hurdles, 1st High Jump
Willow Toll (Year 7) Under 12 – 2nd 100m, 2nd 200m
On the Australia Day weekend in Canberra, Grace Beck (Year 9) competed up several age groups to compete in the Under 20s in the 10km walk at the Australia Capital Territory Championships.
A reminder to all our Track and Field athletes that the New South Wales (NSW) Junior Championships are fast approaching, taking place from Friday 24 February to Sunday 26 February, at Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre.

2023 NSW Junior Championships
The NSW Juniors Championships will feature the best junior athletes in the state, going head-to-head across three full days of track and field action. As a pathway to the Australian Track and Field Junior Championships, it’s an exciting end to our Summer!
