Finals

It was our last round of AFL on the weekend and both our Junior teams were in action. Our mighty Pymble 6 team competed in the Lightening Carnival at Loreto Normanhurst which consisted of four matches throughout the afternoon. This was a huge day for the Pymble 6 side however they finished the day undefeated winning all four from four matches. An incredible effort girls, and an amazing way to finish the season! Congratulations!

Pymble 5 took on Barker College in the Junior Year 7/8 Division 1 grand final at Barker. Our girls were hungry to knock off the minor premiers who went into the match undefeated. It was a slow start for both teams, with possession heavily dominated by the Pymble team.

The scoring started off with several behinds, however the flood gates were opened mid-way through the first quarter and the Pymble team kicked two goals going into quarter time with a commanding lead. From this point on, the match was heavily one sided; Pymble 5 were dominant on all facets of the match. Piling on the points and exerting pressure through their bone rattling tackles. At the final siren, Pymble 5 were crowned Division 1 champions, winning 55 points to 5. An amazing season! So proud of you girls. Congratulations to Holly Mitchell (Year 8) who was awarded Best on Ground!
