Australian Walking Championships

Congratulations to Grace Beck (Year 9) who travelled to Melbourne for the Australian Walking Championships. Grace competed in the Under 20’s, 5km event and walked away with a silver medal.

Abigail Ballhausen (Year 12) and Caitlyn Tan (Year 12) competed at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre at the New South Wales State 5km Championships. It was the first time both have competed in the 5km event on track, and both were awesome. Abigail placed 14th in the women’s open race and placed 3rd in the under 20’s category. Congratulations Abigail.

Well done to all our athletes who also competed in the very tough conditions of heat and humidity on Saturday. Lana Pike (Year 10), Claudia Wyatt (Year 7), Sarah Baker (Year 11), Samara Bond (Year 10), Gabriella Taylor (Year 12), Sophia Slater (Year 10) and Georgia Phillips (Year 11).
