We had an exciting week of igsa Netball Semi Finals on Saturday, with lots of great Netball on display.

Congratulations to Team of the Week Pymble 22 This team has come up against some stiff competition this term. They showed great skill on Saturday in the Semifinal, however, did not come away with the win. All team members have improved throughout the season. Rielle Mouton (Year 7), Stacey Sharp (Year 7), Talia Chan (Year 7), Aaleyah Bookless (Year 7), Willa Pearson (Year 7), Gwen Pickthall (Year 7), Jamilla Soo (Year 7), Holly Watson (Year 7), Emma Roberts (Year 7), Madeleine Gaden (Year 7). This team has been awarded the Brave Team award for the week!

Congratulations to the below teams that have made the Finals this weekend.

Pymble 1, Pymble 16, Pymble 21, Pymble 23 and Pymble 24.

Great effort to all Pymble teams on a season full of teamwork, skill improvement and sportsmanship. We hope to see all players returning next season as well as bring some friends along.

As we head into Finals of Netball, I would like to remind all students to turn up to both training sessions and games on time please. Especially if your games are offsite at another venue, make sure you allow time for traffic and parking. This will ensure that all players have a proper warmup, and the coaches can have their teams ready to go for the start of the game.

Good Luck to all teams playing on Saturday 16 September.

On Tuesday 12 August Sophie Laing (Year 10) played in the CIS 15 and Under Netball team in the All-School Netball Challenge. Sophie was only one of ten players selected for the team to represent CIS. This is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations and well-done Sophie.
